HUB
Carbon County, Utah
Carbon County, Utah, had a unique need; a municipality website that also served as a tourism site, and integrated seamlessly with their internal processes.
Problems We Solved
Carbon County’s content management needs were very diverse from section to section, page to page, with many “one off” and dynamic elements across the site that couldn’t always be predicted. We deployed a highly customized install of a popular Page Builder, along with numerous custom modules, to provide a content management system that was going to accommodate many future needs that weren’t knowable upon launch.
Hook & Reel
This fast-growing national seafood restaurant chain was needing a site that would match their reputation and ambitions. In a sea of competition, H&R needed to stand out. HUB created a contemporary and bold design that we brought to (sea)life.
Problems We Solved
The design was bold and unique and we had to ensure that the experience was going to be equivalent from desktop to phone. In addition, due to their rapid growth, new stores are opening all the time and they needed an easy way for users to easily find a location close to them, as well as order online. The site also had to be as fast loading as possible, so we worked our optimization magic to load times in the 1-2 second range.
Interactive Extras
The dynamic SVG map on the Locations page gives users a unique way to search through all the locations via regions. And the little crab buddy at the footer is excited to greet new users!
Ramblers
Utah is home to some of the most beautiful and unique natural landscapes in the Unites States. Their old website was antiquated, and HUB’s new design provided an experience that matched the uniqueness of their parks and monuments.
Problems We Solved
Ramblers had a lot of content, and it came in the form of many types: attractions, cities, activities, events, pages, and itineraries. We put our heads together with HUB’s creative team and created an framework that is both intuitive for the user and for the client to manage, and keeps extensibility in mind to make sure their site will stay that way as they grow.
Interactive Extras
This site is all about getting outdoors and moving, exploring the natural world. We made sure there were lots of transitions and elegant animations to match the lively design and content.
National Crittenton
National Crittenton advocates for social, economic, and political justice with and for girls, young women, and gender-expansive young people impacted by adversity, violence, and oppression. The organization is needed a new approach to their branding and website.
Problems We Solved
Under a time crunch to get a new site up by the time the new Administration took office, HUB cranked out a new design for a small site in record time, while we leveraged WordPress’ new Block Editor workflow to deploy the site at an equally rapid pace.
