Waltz Creative
Robson Homes
A bespoke builder of beautiful homes, Robson Homes is a family-owned business in Silicon Valley.
Problems We Solved
Robson Homes was coming from a static site that offered no ability to modify content outside of direct code edits. The WordPress ecosystem was the perfect entry point to build them a content management system that was easy for newcomers but would expand as their needs grew. And, like any good home, it had to be something that was built to last.
Interactive Extras
Contemporary and minimalistic was the edict for this redesign. Subtle fade animations peppered throughout the site provide an air of elegance and refined professionalism.
Vantis Vascular
Vantis Vascular is an up and coming company developing novel microcatheter technologies.
Problems We Solved
Vantis needed an informative but also impressive single page site that would showcase their unique product offering.
Interactive Extras
Crafted video clips integrated into a full page experience. Custom sliders and elegant content transitions animate this site and entertain and inform users about Vantis’ innovative technology.
The Hoffman Agency
The Hoffman Agency is an international PR agency that was looking for a new web presence that would stand out amongst their peers and competitors. A key feature was to house a robust Contact section that would make it easy to access contact information for their many satellite offices in various countries across the globe.
Problems We Solved
The previous Hoffman site was limited in its content management scope and did not reflect the forward thinking and vibrant company culture. We matched compelling front end visuals with a highly flexible content management system utilizing a well-established drag/drop page builder, ensuring the site will continue to grow with The Hoffman Agency team for a long time to come.
Interactive Extras
Dingbats, memes, gifs, videos and subtle animations were incorporated to make the content interactive and more digestible while infusing light humor and a smidgen of swagger. The integration of dynamic “on scroll” events bring in interactive design elements with key timings, to enhance the experience for the user.
Waltz Creative Rebrand
American Graphic Designer Awards Winner
Schipper Design has danced their way into a new brand: Waltz Creative, and they were eager to do something big!
Problems We Solved
Knowing from experience that redesigning your website can be one of the hardest projects an agency can take on, we teamed up again with our long-time partners to create something that reflected their new brand’s exuberance and creativity.
Interactive Extras
This entire site is an interactive extra! From the navigation to the variable font, the Waltz team was keen on creating something that was not your typical website experience, and we burned the midnight oil writing custom interactive experiences for this all around incredible site.
The Bulleit Group
The Bulleit Group is a tech consulting agency who solves big problems for big companies, the likes of Google, Farmers Insurance, and Nest…and their old site did not reflect their innovative philosophy and services. They wanted a site that was going to demonstrate their prowess, but would also be easy for all users to navigate.
Problems We Solved
We teamed up with Schipper to provide a creative user experience that conveyed Bulleit’s leading edge aspirations and abilities through an easy to update CMS and a series of flexible page templates.
Interactive Extras
Movement was the focal point in this design. Wavy patterns, parallax layers, animated transitions and even an interactive “particle” header for the homepage all contributed to the fluid sense of movement.
HLB Lighting
HLB is the largest independent lighting design firm in the world and their off-the-shelf website was not representative of their amazing work. With more than 2,500 unique visitors each month, their website also plays a vital role in generating leads and new business.
Problems We Solved
Prioritizing function over form, the site needed to be easy to navigate and load quickly. HLB also utilized OpenAsset for managing all their digital assets. On the back end, Open Asset digital asset management system integration empowers HLB to fully manage the portfolio outside of WordPress. This integration allowed HLB to retain their internal workflow, avoid redundant work and leverage WordPress’ REST API to keep all projects in sync.
Interactive Extras
While light and dark mode viewing options are a fun nod to HLB’s industry, most of the heavy lifting was in the portfolio section. Advanced filtering options, including Google Map view, optimize the user experience.
MedTech Women
MedTech Women sought a website that was able to showcase their annual MedTechVision event in Menlo Park, CA, along with a robust database of their 200+ speakers that was easy to navigate and search.
Problems We Solved
We utilized highly customized deployment of Custom Post Types and Custom Taxonomies to provide a robust Speaker’s database, the ability to filter by Topic and Activity, as well as a javascript-driven Live Filters.
Interactive Extras
The designer behind this site envisioned an “offset” layout that would “break the box”. We implemented a subtle parallax effect on the offset elements to provide a sense of depth to the design.
Aclarion
Aclarion has developed a unique approach to diagnosing the source of back pain: the NOCISCAN.
Problems We Solved
As a new company, their website needed to be finely-tuned, functional and attractive. Waltz’ creative team produced innovative designs that we enhanced with lightning fast load times and a unique Physicians page.
Interactive Extras
An interactive scroll experience for the Physicians page brings the NOSCISCAN to life while a custom plugin we developed for the Locations page demonstrates Aclarion’s growth and reach across the world.
Sprig Equity
Sprig is a major player in the marketing field for biomedical clients. They began a branch of their company dedicated to investing in medical platforms that enhance patient outcomes and their new venture needed a unique online presence.
Problems We Solved
Elegance and clean lines were the main focus for design and development of this site, as well as efficient load times. A custom WordPress theme with an incredibly low plugin footprint met both of those goals.
Interactive Extras
Subtle fades and animated line drawings bring the user in and convey a sense of sophistication and elegance.
San Juan Bautista
Schipper’s hometown needed a new website to replace their previous website from the late 90’s(!). Bringing their best, Schipper created a highly elegant and engaging design that would serve to showcase SJB’s various attractions, restaurants, stores, lodging and more.
Problems We Solved
Doubling as an informative brochure site for the city, the website also had to behave as a vendor directory. We leaned on WordPress’ easy to use content framework to deploy custom page templates right alongside a dynamic page builder, creating an endlessly expandable, and explorable, website.
Interactive Extras
We created a unique mobile navigation that is just as easy to use as it’s desktop counterpart, and accommodated the large amount of sub-pages for each section. To match the peaceful design, we implemented elegant transitions on certain elements, providing a welcoming feeling to the user as they peruse the content.
HSC
HSC started their mission over 20 years ago and sought out to resolve the homelessness problem that plagued Santa Cruz. They’ve evolved to having over 230 staff members and they are the lead agency in the area working on homeless services and care.
Problems We Solved
HSC had compiled a vast Resource Library over 20 years and weren’t sure how to showcase it on their site. We used WordPress to create dynamic blogging functionality that doubles as a resource library and allows for recursive “drilling down” of topics and custom post formats for each of their unique content types; be it a video, publication, event, or blog post.
San Benito County Rodeo (SBCR)
SBCR hosts a long-standing Rodeo every year and needed a bombastic website to back it up. The site is deceptively large and needed a high degree of flexible content options!
Problems We Solved
Just about every page on this site had something new or different than other pages, so attempting to write unique page templates for each layout was not a viable option and would result in a bloated website. We instead opted to leverage a Page Builder and adapted the framework to SBCR’s content management needs, resulting in a highly extensible site that will serve and grow with the client’s needs for years to come.
